Angst is a film-based mental health support program, endorsed by educators, psychiatrists and mental health advocates. Distributed by education veteran, iNDIEFLIX Education, it has transformed lives across 64 countries. In collaboration with the California Department of Education (CDE), iNDIEFLIX Education, CalHOPE and Blue Shield of California, this initiative will directly address anxiety, its causes and solutions, help develop long-term resilience, strength and emotional well-being and Provide strategies and techniques to help deal with the mental health impacts of COVID-19.
iNDIEFLIX Education creates and distributes social impact film programs that address individual and societal issues, from anxiety to social media addiction, and cyber-bullying. These films cover complex topics but always include empowering strategies and practical tips on how to move forward.

Scilla Andreen is an award-winning Producer, Director, Emmy nominated Costume Designer, Author, CEO & Co-Founder of IndieFlix Group Inc., a B2C global, streaming, and B2B virtual community screening service that delivers content for a purpose to schools and corporations. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, Good Morning America, Today, and South China Morning Post. She’s executive produced, directed, and distributed social impact films, Nevertheless, Screenagers, Angst, LIKE, The Upstanders, Empowerment Project, and Finding Kind. Scilla is currently in production on her latest film, RACE. She is Included in Screen International’s Multichannel Women to Watch, Variety’s Women’s Impact Report, and Puget Sound Business Journal Women of Influence. She has been a popular speaker at Sundance, Cannes, CES, SXSW, BeBold, and Women in Film. Scilla is also the Founder of IndieFlix Foundation and is on a mission to change the world with film.
Christine joined iNDIEFLIX in November 2020 after taking a 17-year hiatus from Corporate Sales and Marketing. She developed her career as a successful leader working for ten years in well-established companies such as Morgan Stanley Asset Management New York and London and start-ups like SEI Investments and InvestorForce.com. In addition, Christine served on several non-profit boards during her hiatus, serving leadership roles in development and finance while simultaneously creating her own Integrative Health Coaching practice after receiving her two-year professional coach certification through Duke Integrative Medicine and MBSR Training. She graduated with honors from LaSalle University in 1993 with a BS in Finance and Management Information Systems. When not working to help improve the community, she enjoys spending time playing board games with her family and reading a great science fiction novel.
Liberty Tanghal joined IndieFlix in June 2012 and currently serves as Director of Finance. Liberty graduated from the University of Guam in 1996 with a BBA in Accounting. After graduating, Liberty worked for a local audit firm on Guam that audited the Government of Guam agencies and their use of federal funds. Before joining IndieFlix, she was a consultant for 20+ clients who were mostly startup companies - she provided accounting and tax services. In addition, she assisted a few companies in fundraising, due diligence, and acquisition. During her consulting years, she learned to build and manage business models, which is an important piece of her role at IndieFlix. She brings over 20 years of accounting, tax, audit and finance operational experience.
Ian Andreen graduated from Whitman College in 2016 with a B.A in Economics and Film Studies. Ian joined IndieFlix in early 2017 as part of the film team for the film Angst and later became the lead cinematographer and editor for IndieFlix originals LIke and The Upstanders. Ian is currently the Director of Streaming and oversees content ingestion, programming, festivals, and streaming channel partnerships.
