Reaching Students Through School

Basketball-kids-downsized

As a district, you have the opportunity to ensure all your middle and high schools and their families equitably receive the opportunity to access the program:

Angst Program
  • A plug-and-play mental health support program for students, parents and teachers
  • Combines the classroom-period length Angst documentary with a discussion guide, tip sheet, classroom exercises and a library of support links and materials
  • Delivered virtually, on-demand to both virtual and hybrid classrooms in English or Spanish, as well as to parents and families at home
What it Does
  • Helps young people understand what anxiety is, and what it feels like, through the reflections of other young people who have experienced it
  • Integrates mental health and educational specialists (Stanford, Child Mind Institute), who break down all aspects of anxiety, and provide practical tips on how to manage it
  • Shows how common anxiety is, that anyone can suffer from it, and that everyone can use the tools provided to manage it or help others

Be part of the solution to bring critical support to all young people in your district

"I'm seeing so many students suffering right now, Anxiety is becoming the new pandemic. I’ve implemented Angst in our district and found it to be an impactful SEL opportunity that is easy for teachers to share in a class period. Angst is the most important, eye-opening documentary you will see this year… Whether you are a teenager, parent, educator or a mental health professional, you simply need to see this movie, and soon. And every school and corporation needs to screen this film. It’s that important.”
