Now that we recognize common terms used in conversations about race and racism, let’s establish an understanding of what these vocabulary words mean. Having a shared vocabulary can help us have productive conversations with one another.

The following list of words and definitions are mismatched. Match each term with the
correct definition by drawing a line. Try your best to do it on your own
at first, but if you need help, consider asking your peers. This is a collective learning
process, and we can guide each other to a deeper understanding.
