More people are sleeping on the streets in the UK than ever before thanks to the rise in homelessness. Documentarian Mike Staniforth decided to speak to the wandering people of Manchester to see just how bad it really is.
Absolute tragedy. I especially feel for Lukasz, I don't know how he manages to remain sane after al this time. If only someone would give him a break, his appreciation would be overwhelming. A good man in the wrong place. Well made film.
Touching since I live, study and work in Manchester city centre, definitely sends a message. Thanks
Absolutely heart-wrenching. The unaccounted have not only a voice, but a face here. They are why I donate and volunteer. There but for the grace of God go I...
Well done. An interesting contrast was up close and personal with the homeless and a backdrop of the indistinguishable crowd of regular people. It is where you put your eye.
heartbreaking - I feel for Lukasz. some folks just need a break...
Ari, a homeless teen, conceals his identity as the graffiti artist "Shelter Boy".
Honest and heartfelt, this organic film brings me back to my teenage years with ease. Brave, genuine performances and gritty, realistic filmmaking make this a moody must-see.
A documentary that chronicles rapper Pras Michel's (The Fugees) 9-day experiment as a homeless man in downtown Los Angeles.
Some of the interviews with the homeless individuals are absolutely heartbreaking. The man who blockades the doors of his squat so not to be murdered in his sleep. I am lucky to not be able to relate, this film is so touching and a real gift to those who take the time to watch it.
Thought provoking, simply moving documentary on homelessness. Glad I watched it.
