When Rachel Towne (Emily Woof) is told by doctors that her newborn baby died over night , she refuses to accept their story and decides to launch an investigation. At the hospital she is confronted by corrupt police officer Dennis Betts (Clive Russell) who will stop at nothing to prevent her from finding the truth. The only person willing to help Rachel is janitor Daniel Stone (Douglas Henshall), who believes her baby was switched at birth with the still born child of a prostitute. Together, Rachel and Daniel embark on a terrifying journey through a seedy red light underworld which exposes conspiracy and corruption in the medical world.
