Reminiscent of early Cinéma-Verité, Half a Bee takes a peek into the life of small town poet and musician Eric Morder. His psyche permanently scarred after an unfortunate chemical experience at age 17, Eric managed to acquire his Master's degree in English, and now spends his time writing compulsively while managing the local Dairy Queen. Directed by Tim Busko, the film follows Eric over a 5 month period in late 2006 as he muses and sings about life, love, obsession and journeying through the cosmos with his beloved cat Zeusy - and in doing so, shows us a 33-year-old man in the throes of growing up.
