In an attempt to escape from the daily distress Emma starts training her dog Sif for the dog training contest at her uncle Karl's countryside house. The day comes when Emma and Sif are ready to attend the dog training contest, but when Emma's dad drives under the influence and gets them both involved in a minor car accident, Emma decides to seek help in her new-found friend Karl. Karl and Emma join forces and Karl shows up the day of the competition to take Emma to the final exam instead of Martin.
