Film-Based Social Emotional Learning Curriculum that inspires positive action, personal revelation and social change for all ages.
We provide social emotional learning experiences that have long and lasting measurable impact. Our social-impact, film-based programs, and accompanying pre-recorded and live panel discussions, activities, resources, tips and tools provide up to 24 weeks of experiential learning appropriate for ages 10-100. We've hosted over ten thousand screening programs in schools, corporations and communities across more than 85 countries.
For the first time ever, IndieFlix is working with schools and businesses to address and educate students and their families at home to manage the stress and anxiety around COVID-19.
Your school, organization, and place of work can access our popular, award-winning, film-based programs that address anxiety, bullying, effects of social media, and mental health as well as participate in the interactive materials and discussions from home. Previously these have only been available offline in theaters, classrooms and boardrooms.

We believe film is the most powerful medium on the planet.
By sharing stories we connect and can have a lasting positive impact. These screenings bring kids, parents, coworkers and communities together to talk about the important topics covered by the films, share personal stories and provide resources and tools.
TUHSD (Tamalpais Unified School District) Wellness felt it was important and relevant to bring ANGST screenings and materials to our high school community as part of our "virtual" wellness programming during this time of uncertainty in our world. Families district-wide, will have the opportunity to screen the film with their teens and engage in guided discussion at home about navigating and managing stress and anxiety and mental health during this time.Jessica Colvin, Wellness Director TUHSD.
The Angst Film-Based Program was made available online to 10,000 families in Marin County April 2020
The conversation surrounding mental health really hits home for me. Many people don't understand how debilitating mental illness truly can be, and even more than that, how common it is, yet people are afraid to have the serious discussions about it. I welcomed the opportunity to be a part of Angst to further the dialogue around mental health and to help people understand the impact anxiety has on our mental state and encourage people, especially kids, to ask for help.Michael Phelps, Olympic Gold Medalist
Thanks to the support of the team at IndieFlix, we had a successful screening event followed by a panel discussion including experts from a variety of professional fields.Simone Picker, Program Coordinator, Jewish Community Center of St. Louis
Clearly the IndieFlix forum of documentary / school forums can both inform communities [..] and prompt effective evidence-based interventions. Bravo IndieFlix!Cora Collette Breuner, MD, MPH, FAA
