Effects are great and I liked the ending, however I hated the concept and screenplay. "i have eight badges" was overused in a nine minute film. What is the game besides killing off Zombies?

The same thing happens like 4 times where they leave eachother alone and it gets super 'dramatic'. It was the same scene sequence repeated except one time it was just the kid crying wolf and almost getting shot in the face

Great episode by Cal Nguyen's jack of all trades credits, whether it would have been between photography, video editing or sound. He certainly does his best to work well with is character while working between set to do the project. Very commendable cinematography as well. There are moments in the episode previous and in this episode. Where sound and other editing moments could have been refined or at least improved upon in some cases. Sometimes being an indie filmmaker and working on technicality can be really tricky and it speaks amateur. But you have to give credit where credit is due. Especially when it came to the performances of the cast. Tiras Abel's character has spun into darkness. He's lost control of the will of what he believed was the true collective of survival. When other groups take control, they no longer have it and are slaves to their own code of ethics. Once again I touched on this in the last episode. But basically the principal remains the same. If Tiras had continued to fight back. He would have been viewed as mentally and criminally insane. Whereas if you count the rest of the group. You feel for him, his true motives had been repressed. The same can be said for the descent of Agent Benjamin Lot played by Bill Gillane. Giving a wonderful performance of which I believe was his crowning work out of any of the cast I have seen yet. The cast has performance issues, but when they put forth effort and emotional emphasis where it is needed they shine like a candle in some scenes. This is still a very good episode with some tense conflict and wonderful social commentary about the political divisiveness that exists in our day. It truly speaks for itself and leaves its influx opened on both sides of the political spectrum of which I appreciate. We normally sense a descent of order, which is formed and bred into anarchy. Which is something that not even Agent Lot nor General Cain have control over for that matter. It closes quite well and leaves a wonderful cliffhanger. Cannot wait to see where they will take the next one. I am sad to see that this season is ending so soon. One more episode, I will definitely be looking forward to future projects that will come from this Independent group. Keep up the good work guys!

I can't help but wonder if Cal Nguyen was inspired by the franchise of Star Trek. The series has a vocal purpose behind each episode. And it seems that each bad guy and each good guy reaches a cross roads of morality and that they cannot escape from. Debates and debacle are what this series focus's on and if you don't believe me look it up on the web. Ethics is what is so intriguing about this episode. How far can you as a person, as a character cross the line and that is what we see happen with Tiras. Redemption is also shown in this episode for Safsel. But we also get a glimpse of a spiral into darkness with misguided judgements with Tiras Abel. This series is getting intense with every concoction of action and conflict that each episode has me hanging on the edge of my seat. Aside from the amateur work this film company puts out to the best of their ability. I Wonder if they will do a 3rd season once they finish off their 2nd season finale.
