Biography:
John Ervin is the award-winning director of four films that reflect his wide-ranging interests. These interests include: cult/midnight cinema, as expressed by his 2001 sex comedy "Vixen Highway"; European and early silent cinema, evoked in his first feature "Made in Berlin"; and social commentary, a big part of his futuristic dominatrix-rehab fable "Proinhibition." Ervin's work has been featured at New York's Cinekink Festival and Australia's Sexy Film Fest. He holds a BA in Film from San Francisco State University and a degree in Web design from Minneapolis Community and Technical College. John Ervin is also a freelance columnist for the Minneapolis periodicals City Pages and The Rake.
