Virgin Pockets was shot on location in the City of Erie Pennsylvania with a handful of actors, Pool Hustlers and Professional Players. We'll let you figure out who's who.
"Virgin Pockets" is an exploration of story telling without dialog, in that each of the dozen pool games played in the movie tells a story, or speaks to a characters development. A trick I used as a director on this movie, was to place a sentence in the actors head to say over and over again. Then I'd say, "Say it, but with just your face..." And it worked. At least for this one. It was shot on a Panasonic DVX100B and Edited in Final Cut Pro. I did a color correction pass on it with Color, and there's one digital shot in the film, but I'll never point it out. - Paul Gorman
