Two assassins struggle to make sense of their existence over a phone conversation.

While en route to an unknown location, female assassin Chapman receives a phone call from fellow assassin Booth, with whom it is clear she has a close relationship. Booth tells her that he has just "missed his target", spawning a conversation between the two of them on their current career choices.

The DVD of "Rendezvous" contains a director/producer commentary track, a downloadable .pdf copy of the screenplay, and trailers for current and upcoming Glass City Films projects!

Rendezvous, for us, is a case study in getting the most bang for the buck. Shot for no more than $150 - costs included food, a toy sniper rifle, and a one-day rental for the hotel room set - this short, written in two days and shot in two days over the Christmas holiday, should not have worked. The power went out at the hotel on our second day of shooting, the first day of shooting brought with it the first cold day of the winter and winds topping 50mph while shooting on the rooftop of an 11-story building, and with only a small crew doing us favors we had everything working against us.

And yet, here we are, and we are immensely proud of the result. For us, it's a testament to what happens when the right people come together to make art, and when the generosity of friends, neighbors, and a city prevail. We simply could not have completed Rendezvous without all those people mentioned in our special thanks section, be it for equipment, for locations, for food, or for simply the motivation to reach beyond ourselves. And we hope, in watching it, that you might be affected in some small way as a viewer and, perhaps, as a filmmaker and an artist. Thanks for your time, and enjoy the film!
