At an unknown time, in an unknown place, a young man wakes up on top of a mountain in what appears to be a desolate desert. Realizing it is not his bedroom, he frantically starts running around on top of the mountain in a haze of confusion. Soon the sun rises and he can observe the world around him. Not even knowing if this is the earth, he embarks on a journey to find out where he came from and what his purpose is. He wanders the world, finding nobody he recognizes, until finally there's movement above him. Flying in the skies is a light source.
