A psychologist ends up repressing her memories of being sexually abused by a Catholic priest. She must confront her fears once and for all before it destroys her forever.

"Father, You Sinned" is not just a film that has to deal with abuse and revenge. It has to deal with the victim’s ability to cope with abuse even long after the abuse has stopped. It is something that he/she will bear for the rest of her life. I want the audience to know, not only did this individual raped her/him, as a child, it raped her/him for life. This person’s life is forever changed all because of one individual’s actions. I want to express this movie very artistically, but yet at the same time, show truth and realism. I want this movie to show a reminder to people to be aware of their own actions, because it can have a lasting effect on someone’s life. I want this short film to show awareness to victims of abuse, whether it be physical, emotional, etc. I want the audience to feel as if they, themselves have been raped, so they will finally understand how, to effect a change in today's society.
