Production Notes

Early in the film the scene where the Bully running after David when he crosses the tracks and the Train speeding behind him, and looks like he is getting hit by it, the Actor was never in any danger, as the train and the Actor where shot seperately.

The Bully and Bryan are Brothers in real life. At the casting of this film, David Rice was cast as the character Bryan and the Actor who was going to play the Bully, could not do the part due to illness, and the Actor Stephan James Rice who only took his younger Brother David to Audition, was asked by the Director to try out for the part and he got it.

Director's Statement

The Ringo Bingo Kid, was a very fun film to do. Working with kids is always a great thing and fun experiance. Parents were great also. At the Grandmother's house the Set decorator and I felt that the least elegant the house the better, so no fancy settings were put into the two week rental house. We knew this would better work for the film. I wanted to make this film less coloring then it may should have been. I wanted to focus on the charactors more then the surroundings on this one.
