Travis got his start in performing arts back in the 6th grade when he appeared
as a sick boy staying home from school in his first onstage role. From there he
continued to perform onstage in several theatrical productions from Romeo and
Juliet to Fiddler on the Roof. Pretty soon acting wasn't enough for Travis and
he decided to ask a friend about how he can get into filmmaking. He suggested
that Travis write a script and the result was Checkpoint 33. CP33 went on to
make the Slamdance Screenplay Competition semi-finals and Travis' screenwriting
and film production whistle was wet. Over the course of his short film career
Travis has produced over 7 short films and has initiated development of the
feature film "Clemency". Eventually, through a friend, Travis was introduced to
Scilla Andreen for a dog-sitting job. This however never came about, as Travis'
ideas for online grassroots marketing lead to his hiring at IndieFlix. He looks
forward to projecting IndieFlix out into the crucial, and fledgling online
marketplace. |
