IndieFlix gives cash prizes at Temecula Valley International Film
Festival
September 14-22, 2005
IndieFlix joined TVIFF and sponsored cash prizes to the Audience Choice Award
winners for Best Feature Film ($1,000), Best Documentary ($500), Best Animation
($250), Best Short Film ($250), and Best Student Film ($250).
BEST FEATURE:
FALLING
Writer/Producer/Director: Clayton Allis
A man faces the family and friends of the petty criminal who died saving him. To
repay the debt, he tries to be the perfect substitute husband and father to the
dead man's widow and son.
BEST DOCUMENTARY:
CHOPPERTOWN: THE SINNERS
Writers/Producers/Directors: Scott Di Lalla and Zack Coffman
This documentary is about a hot rod and biker club known as the Sinners. Modern
day greasers, the Sinners are all about the old school. None of them is old
enough to have experience the hot rod heydays of the 50's & 60's but they
still live on the edge of society chopping cars, and bikes and searching for
vintage parts to make their 'Rat Rods", ""Trumps", "Mercs" and "Bobbers" into
rolling works of art.

This is a story about a man who realizes that his perfect automated life is not
in his control but the corporation who created the system. After the discovery,
does he have the will or the power left to escape?
BEST ANIMATION:
HANDSHAKE
Producer/Director: Patrick Smith
An innocent greeting turns into a sticky tangled struggle for survival,
illustrating the twists and turns of love at first sight.
BEST STUDENT FILM:
CHAOS THEORY
Writer/Director: Suny Behar (UCLA)
Producer: Jocelyn Hublau
A comedy about the outrageous misadventures of a meteorologist desperate to stop
the endless cycle of disorder that is ruling his life. If a butterfly flapping
its wings on Brazil can cause a tornado in Texas, imagine what it could do to
his love life.
